All Xcalibur Tooling bandsaw blades are precision welded in-house at the Bramhall, Cheshire facility. Each weld joint is ground smooth and batch-tested for concentricity, eliminating vibration, noise, and tracking issues common with lower quality imports. Dimensional tolerances are tightly controlled: blade length is held within ±0.2mm, width within ±0.1mm, and thickness within ±0.02mm. This ensures accurate seating in the bandsaw guides, consistent tensioning, and a superior surface finish on all materials. The low vibration design supports accurate, straight cuts and reduces blade wander, making it suitable for both straight and gentle curve work. Each blade is supplied coiled for safe storage and transport, with guidance to store in dry conditions to prevent corrosion.
